Virginia Gillespie (VG PlayRoom), Celina Strachan and Heidi McCurdy are recipients of a Surrey Cultural Project Grant we are calling Listening Bowl : A Social and Ecologically Engaged Art Project to devise public place making, and seasonal celebration through rambles in nature with interactive song, narrative/poetry, movement, discourse and made arts objects. With urban stressors from rapid growth and disruption of natural spaces, we acknowledge the importance the relationship to the land we inhabit with flora and fauna, the elements and each other.
